I printed many multi-coloured prints for Christmas which meant plenty of poop.
My wife cast this into a resin toilet seat that I think is rather appropriate!
We followed this video to make the mold: https://youtu.be/-WeUqiByfzo?si=55EMQ4IdQ4E4msKB
I love making things with resin too. Where on earth did she get a toilet seat mold?
We bought one from Amazon but it was far too shallow to cover the coils so sent it back and made one ourselves with silicon using a standard seat to create it.
I took some video of the process and will link to it when it’s edited and uploaded.
That’s awesome, I would love to see it. I have boxes and boxes of molds but that’s one I had never seen lol.
The feeling of pooping sitting on poop. We are living the future ![]()
Where did you get such a mold? Asking for a friends @ass ![]()
We made the mold with silicon and a standard seat.
That’s a really crappy solution.
I’m sure there are times it really stinks. ![]()
How is it that there are 5 replies before mine, and none have delved into the puns and humor?

And btw:
I see what you did there. Some serious sh1t ![]()
As promised, here is the video of how the poop-seat was made.
here
Here is the video of making the seat and there is a link in the description to the video where we learnt how to make the mould and to most of the products we used.
I love it! Thank you for sharing that. All the sanding really made it look perfect. Watching it made me miss doing the resin projects. Mine were much smaller in scale though. Here’s some stuff I made in 2023 for breast cancer awareness month.
Did you ever 3d print the mold for a resin project in TPU or something similar?
I didn’t, all my molds came from Amazon and Temu. I read a tutorial and it looks like it works great but I never tried it. I did make a plaque for someone and put a photo in a recess and poured resin over it. It made a perfect windows to see the picture through. I also tried to pour my own mold out of silicone once, that didn’t work out so well, it was definitely user error lol.
These are amazing, thanks for sharing, the dominos must have taken quite some time and I hope you raised some money for a very worthy cause.
