Every time I open Bambu Studio, my machine slows to an absolute crawl. Video and audio stops, mouse lags drastically, etc. Once it finally loads, things return to normal.
I’m using the highest end Lenovo laptop with 128GB of RAM, so i don’t think it’s the machine. No other app, including locally running AI models, does anything near this.
Check your VPN and/or outbound connectivity. Bambu slicer phones home significantly as you launch it and use it, and it tends to hang when connections are failing.
