Hello,
When using MW and browsing prints, we have the options of:
- Open in bambo studio
- download 3mf
-download stl
I usually just download stl as sometimes i just browse and download a bunch of prints for later however… however… i believe if you select open in bambu studio… it pre-loads the correct settings per the designer where as downloading stl… bambu uses it’s own preset given the project.
Am i correct on the above? Is there a way to download the file with the creator’s presets to save to print later?
Thanks everyone… i searched a bit but didn’t find a clear explanation.
You want to select whatever profile it is you want (assuming there are multiple profiles) and then download the 3mf. When you open that 3mf in Bambu Studio, it will have all the settings the model creator intended to be used.
ookkay, that makes a great sense. Thanks for replying.
One can also put the model(s) into collection(s) to make it easier to go back to, if one doesn’t want to keep track of which 3MF file is for what model. The names of the 3MF files may not always be descriptive eough.
Designers probably would prefer users to download the print profile or model though: putting models in collections don’t give them points
