I dont know if its only my printer, but with my X1C its very common for blobs to get stuck on the nozzle and then being transferred to the print. I have a Prusa and it occurs much less, also the bambu hotend is so delicate that it seems like every time it bangs to a blob its gonna bend.
In the Prusa when I see a blob I just pause the print and clean in manually with a needle nose pliers, with the X1C its not possible since it goes to the poop shoot and is not accessible.
Are one of these options available (and if not - Bambulab can you please add them):
- Add in the slicer an option to tell the printer to do a nozzle clean every X layers
- Add to the printer GUI a button that makes the print pause but not go to its parking spot so I can manually clean the blob on the nozzle
The current cleaning routine (when hitting pause or generally when it cleans the nozzle during print) is not very effective, especially if it does not occur regularly and large amount of melted plastic accumulates on the nozzle thus creating blobs regularly.
