I have 01.07.05.00 firmware 00.00.00.06.40 AMS as I want to keep orcaslicer 2.3.2, now I want to print with sirya TPU AIR and load as external .
On the printer there is nothing as manifactuerer, just bambulab generic overture polymaker esun and no TPU what so ever even in device of orca no way to setup this material.
On Orca I setup the filament as a custom and save the preset, how can I impose this in the setting?
Any advice?
I really do not understand the purpose of Bambu “Custom” presets. I’ve searched the Bambu wiki. I’ve asked here, on Discord, and in both Bambu and Orca GitHubs what advantage they have over the original “User” presets, but the question has never been answered or even discussed. They seem to be just an unnecessary complication.
On the printer, or in the Device tab, you should be able to select Generic TPU.
In the Orca Prepare tab, I enable Generic TPU in System filaments. I edit and rename that system profile, then save it as a User preset.
Thank you for help
unfortunately there is no TPU in the list.
Now if I use a profile that match the temperature, to at list load the filament, it should be fine as the real info of the filamnet is in orca after slicing the project and sending to the printer, right?
