First, I am handicapped. Myositis is a muscle degenerative disease without a cure. Over 25 years with myositis, my hands now have extremely weak grip and poor dexterity. Lucky me, eh? ![]()
Since purchasing a P1S Combo I do change out the .4mm nozzle to a .2mm or .6mm frequently. My Myositis is making the nozzle swap out very difficult. I’m at the point I feel it necessary to order a simpler, easy in and out nozzle.
I think the FlowTech™ Hotend for Bambu Lab P1 Printers is the solution. It comes with a standard flow / hardened tip nozzle. Being standard flow, and I don’t foresee using CF filaments, I don’t think replacing the standard extruder for a hardened steel extruder would be necessary. Am I wrong?
Also, I’m guessing there would be no major differences other than changing the nozzle parameter in the P1S from stainless .4mm to hardened .4mm.
