I am not sure what is going on with my original AMS. I have had it since 2023 and has normally worked without issue. But lately it is not able to feed filament into extruder well enough, it’s like it’s lacking power. I pulled the entire AMS apart and cleaned everything, replaced PTFE tubes in the AMS. Also replaced PTFE coming from AMS to hub, and hub to printer. I figured maybe the PTFE was wearing a hole in it or something. I cleaned the hub, the nozzle, and whole extruder.
But even after new PTFE tubing and cleaning everything it still has issues. You can hear it really bog down in the PTFE tube that goes through the back of the machine and connects to the print head, and I tried replacing that as well. I am not sure what is up because this thing has performed flawlessly up until now.
