I have a P1S printer which I’ve had for about 3 months. To date I’ve printed about a dozen objects using only Bambu filaments and all have come out perfectly. with very smooth outer skin with no sign of banding. I’m printing with a 0.4 nozzle. Lately I’ve delved into non AMS color printing using the pause setting in Bambu studio. . My last print was of a 2 color DNA strand. The base was printed with Bambu Charcoal After printing the base I had the printer pause, unloaded the Charcoal filament, loaded the GIANTARM brand Silk Metallic Gold and commenced the print. I set my filament type to Generic silk. The outer skin of the gold DNA strand section was loaded with random dots but its tree support structure (which printed simultaneously in the same gold ) was perfectly smooth and shiny. I’ve attached two photos, one of a long shot of the whole project and the second of a close up of an example leg of the DNA strand.showing the surface imperfections. If there was a problem with the filament, I would have expected the tree supports to have the same surface imperfections. What is the difference in the P1S settings of the Tree support vs the actual project.? Can anyone give me suggestions on how to correct this problem?
