Outer wall significantly slower on H2S than P1S

I’m at a loss here as to what’s causing this, but for one of my models the outer wall is taking nearly 90 minutes more on my H2S in Bambu Studio than it is on a P1S in OrcaSlicer. The settings appear to be identical, and I know it’s not the issue I had initially with Bambu Studio where the Z-Hop was not set to Slope. What obvious thing am I overlooking here?

Okay, even though Overhang speed is the same in both slicers, this definitely affects the outer wall time, and I don’t understand why. If I change the 75% threshold from the default 10 to 15, I get identical print times:

I just don’t see why the times would be so wildly different given that the values are the same in both slicers.

Compare these settings to see if anything gets overwritten. First, the filament settings / profile:

The printer and filament profile in particular can override settings in the project. For comparison, you also need to look at these settings. Not that there’s a check mark set somewhere that overrides the setting. If you say that everything is fine, then you can continue searching for the cause, but it is usually due to the printer/filament profile.

Yeah, the first things I compared were the printer and filament profiles, and everything is either identical or faster in Bambu Studio for my H2S (using a 0.4mm HF nozzle, too).

Two things you could still compare. First, set the indicator to “speed” and maybe it will show you a difference.

And now comes the really interesting part: the check box for “travel.” See if the printer is making unnecessary movements. I can’t remember the details, but there was a firmware/slicer combination that caused the printer to make too many unnecessary movements.

Speed is what drew me to the overhang stuff, because in Bambu Studio the lowest speed is 8, while in Orca it’s 10, but jumps top 38 quickly. As for Travel, the first setting I changed in BS was setting the default Z-Hop movement to Slope; Auto was using Spiral, which added an insane amount of time to the prints (I had another post on that one).

It’s just weird how overhangs appear to be handled slightly differently even though the same settings are available (and configured) in both slicers.
