Overhang hollow sphere outer wall issue

Hi i’m just learn 4 days about 3d printing thing, this was my first attempt to print a hollow object but i’m having trouble as you seen. im use PLA

is there a way too make it more smoother? i don’t know which parameter that need to tweak to solve this, please help.

thank you!

It looks like your file has Fuzzy Skin enabled.

Disable that, slice, and check the preview to see if that’s what you were referring to.

nope, still have some issue. the outer wall wont cover that inner wall at the upmost layer.

You have “Only one wall on top surface” selected, based on that preview image. Try untoggling that, is that the problem you are referencing?

If you’re referencing the stairstep of the top, Top surfaces in 3d printed stuff is stepped based on your layer height. To view this objectively: Try adding a simple sphere and slicing it with a couple different layer heights, and look at your preview. You can change the entire models layer height easily [adds print time, but better resolution overall, your patience is often rewarded] or you can enable variable layer heights on the object itself. Then set just those “rounded top” regions on a low layer height, and the rest at something normal [depending on $stuff; this might be visually noticable in the printed model as banding where the layer height changes from big to small and vice versa]
