P1P randomly turn off
i’ve a p1p since august 2024 and for 2/3 weeks now it turn off randomly during printing ..
i’ve change sd card , upgrade with new firmware ( i was using orca slicer), factory reset, calibrating and the problem is still the same, i tried sending print via lan only and no change
it can print hours and for some reason it’ll turn off ..i’ve to manually turn off and on to use it again
Out of curiosity have you used Handy to roll back firmware, see if the problem persists with older firmware. I know you said you upgraded, but try a version that was before what you upgraded from.
May have a loose cable, worth checking. I’d also put in a ticket. Just to be sure.
It could be your microSD card is failing. You can try reformatting it but you may need to replace it. The SD cards that came in the printer are prone to failure. When buying a replacement, get one for cameras since they are designed for multiple read write cycles.
thanks for the reply , i already change the sd card for a new one and format from the printer , i try moving a little bit the printer to see if power turn off and no , i just change the power cable and ‘ll try to print .. wait and see
Hey, just to add to your case I have the same problem with my P1P. I changed the hotend cable as it was a little bit damaged but that did not fix the issue.
If you managed to solve, please tell us!
may be it’s the power button . when printer turned off , i touch the buttn a little and printer turned on … bambu ‘ll send me a new one and i’ll see .. you can check too
