I have three issues I am trying to solve. The first is that I have installed the Bambu enclosure kit, to make my P1P a “P1S” or at least in appearance.
Once I did this and went to calibrate it, it would not calibrate. It would sit a zero percent after moving around a bit. I tried three times, and left it longer than normal, nothing. So I figured I did something wrong.
I took the AMS buffer off, disconnecting everything. I took the back panel off and checked. Everything looks good. I installed the cable chain and toolhead cable last year so I know its nothing to do with that after tons of prints since.
I then remembered a post about calibration issues and the AMS so with it disconnected and the back panel off I decided to run calibration again and it worked.
So I am at a loss as to what could be causing the issue when the AMS is plugged in. I have taken apart the AMS and determined that there is stuck filament, as I ran filament through all tubes and mechanics. I am not sure what to do? Run it as is, after being calibrated without the AMS connected?
My second question is what is the best configuration of installation of the AMS Boden tube to buffer? I have had my machine disconnected for a few weeks and forgot how it was connected with the AMS on top, but I also build a dedicated shelving unit so the AMS will now sit next to it. How do you have yours setup with these connectors (See picture)?
My third question is the fitment of the rear P1S panel. There are tabs around the belt tensioners, and they don’t seem to fit. I could probably shove them in there but I feel it would be impossible to remove.
