  • Any potentially useful information that is related to the problem
  • I am trying to print a large area with a bottom layer using the octagram spiral pattern. I have used this pattern with other PLA and had successful results, but this filament is having inconsistent extrusion around the direction changes

  • I’m only printing the first 4 layers to assess the issue

  • P1S with AMS - Elegoo PLA+ Black filament, dried

  • Calibrated K factor and flow just before this print as part of troubleshooting (0.02 and 0.9792 respectively)

  • Max vol speed is 12 mm3/s

  • 2 walls, 15% gyroid

  • Initial layer speeds 50/105 (I tried 20/55 as well with similar results)

  • Other later speeds 200/300

  • All other settings are standard to 0.2 stock profile

  • Part also has a 0.32 gap brim to help with warping

update: it was a bad plate. old glacier plate swapped with a fresh gold PEI and it came out amazing.
