I’ve just had to disassemble my extruder for the 5th time, trying to diagnose heatcreep or filament clogging issues.
Anyway putting it back together I noticed when manually pressing in the cutter all the way after screwing the bolt in, it doesn’t spring out on its own. I backed out the bolt tightness a bit but it still kinda gets stuck all the way in(doesnt popout via the spring). Should it do this? Or is this taken care of by the printer when it does it on its own?
If I give it a bit of a slight pull it springs back out again, but I dont really remember how it should work.
It should move feely.
It is most likely the retaining screw needs to be adjusted.
