Unfortunately I think I have a cockroache in my printer.

Is the bottom (inside) solid or is there a gap? Or is the back have the only open area.

Is it safe to target spray? Is there an issue if a raise-the plateplate screw in the back that needs to be avoided?

The bottom is open. Tilt it and you can see the belt and pulleys for the Z axis.
