Hello!
I recently replaced the X/Y timing belts on one of my P1S, and I now have a weird problem with it, where I get wavy, somewhat diagonal lines.
Now the weirdest part is that the lines get worse depending on how many objects I have on my build plate when printing, regardless of size. Ergo, one big object show none to faint lines, while five small objects (like the two on the pic that comes from a five object test print) show significant lines.
What makes it EVEN weirder is that one there only is one object left on a multi object print, the lines disappear, like in the image below where the cylinder is bigger on the Z axis than the rectangles.
I have tried the following without success:
- Re-tensioned all belts, including the Z axis
- Oiled all bearings and cleaned all the rods
- Tried multiple nozzles
- Replaced the feet with anti-vibration feet
- Reduced printing speed, outer wall speed, and travel speed
- Manually adjusted the bed levelling to make sure it’s levelled
- Moved the printer from the bench down to a hard floor to completely remove any potential external vibrations.
- Tried PLA filament rolls from different manufacturers (all working fine on my other P1S)
- Tried printing both with my AMS and external spools
- Recalibrated every time after making any adjustments
I’m running out of ideas here, and have searched the web and can’t really find anyone who has experienced the same weird behaviour, but I’m hoping someone might have a clue here?
