Hi everybody,
I have a really strange feeding error with one of my P1S.
The printer itself has just about 350 hours and is only used with PLA.
After finishing the last print (perfect quality - as always) I was not able to extrude filament anymore.
To minimize the possible error sources I load the filament per hand.
The following happens: Gear grips the filament, I push slightly until the display asks me to retry or load. Usually I give the filament a slight pull, just to be sure that it is inserted correctly. I can just pull the filament out, no grip at all.
What I already did:
- Upgraded the extruder gear: I still had a unused hardened extruder gear at home → same problem
- Changed the nozzle → same problem
- Changed the filament sensor → same problem
I have changed every part which comes in contact with the filament, but nothing helped.
I inspected the extruder motor and tried to stop it with my hand (suggested in the wiki), the motor is strong - no way of stopping it.
I really do not know what else could be the source of this.
Does anybody has a suggestion? Thank you!
