I tried searching around to see if anyone else has the same issue but I couldn’t find one with the exact issue.
So my P1S sometime after updating to 01.08.00.00 I started getting failed to extrude filament (0700-8007) with the AMS but it was in frequent and seemed to have solved it self (spoke too soon) and now it’s consistently having this issue.
When starting a print, when the AMS is feeding the filament to the extruder it will feed all the way to it then stop. It will then retract and try again a few times before throwing 0700-8007. The way I’ve been getting around this is either:
- Manually feeding through the side.
or - Waiting for the filament to get to the extruder, cancelling the print while the filament is already inside, then restarting the print.
This works 100% of the time but if there’s and issue during a print (empty filament, filament swap) then I can’t get it to work again as I can’t pause with the filament in the extruder.
Has anyone else come across this specific issue and resolved it?
All of the other somewhat similar threads have seemed to solve this by either replacing the entire buffer PCB and/or MC PCB but considering I’m out of warranty at this point it doesn’t seem like a good choice to replace both myself. I also can’t seem to find the buffer PCB anywhere on Bambu’s site.
