P1S - Gaps between the lines of the first layer

Hi,

I tried a new PEF plate today. The print adhered well, but I noticed that the individual lines of the first layer are not 100% fused together, so there is no uniform surface, but grooves in between.
Here is a scan of the print where you can clearly see the grooves.

So far I have only printed on the original textured PEI plate, which did not show this.

What can I do to improve the print so that the grooves are not visible?

I am using original Bambu PLA and the .4mm stainless steel hotend.

Welcome to the forum.

The lines you see are common on a smooth sheet. This is an advantage of using the textured sheet as these lines as you know are much less visible.

You can play around with the first layer flow and temperature to try to reduce them but I don’t know if you will ever get a first layer like a textured sheet.
