P1S hard sound when head reaches front right at print initialisation

Yesterday I unboxed my brand new P1S and launched the sample benchy on the printer itself.

During initialisation of the print the head reaches at some time the front right of the printer and makes a hard sound as if it is colliding with something. Is this normal? It sounds more harsh in reality than on the video which I will try to add…

Additionally after the print I got the notification that the y Axis resonance frequency is too low. The print itself looks nice though so a potential related belt loosening issue can not be too bad I think.

  1. Can anyone confirm also hearing the hard noise at initialisation?
  2. I guess I need to perform the documented actions related to belt tensioning to avoid the y Axis resonance frequency app notification?

1.- It’s how the printed homes. No problem at all.
