Part cooling fan was detached as of unboxing and has never plugged in securely. I have managed to tape it in place with obvious intermittent success, I need a proper solution to this please.
You could change the extruder connection board.

Sounds like a defective model. Take to support about getting a replacement

I went to support but there doesn’t appear to be a way of actually contacting someone. It just seems to be a list of options that have nothing to do with my issue. I don’t think there really is any support, or not any that is easily accessible. I’m not rich and this cost me hundreds for the P1S combo.
I don’t actually know how to do that but I will follow the link you gave (thank you) and see what I can find out.
