Hello all,
During Multi-color prints at some point the poop on my printer get stuck above the trap door (see picture). Poop builds up and eventually the front cover falls off.
I am using a P1S which has already 500 hours print time. I upgraded already the nozzle wiper which works fine. I am printing only PLA.
This problem is really annoying - do you have any help or tips?

I am not quite sure about the root cause.
I had the same issue before I replaced the nozzle wiper. Lining the inside of the poop tray with dry PTFE solved all my problems.

I have the same issue occasionally occurring. I have over 1500 hours on my P1S in just over 2 and a half months. I’ve tried just about every nozzle wiper etc, but none of them solve this issue. Only of the other posted mention lining the chute with PTFE and this does help, but needs to be High Temp PTFE tape, but in my experience it’s not enough on its own.
If you look on makerworld or printables for a Purge Chute Extension and print it in PETG, this should solve many of the issues. The extension isn’t perfect though as it stops the trap door in the chute fully closing, but I’m working on a remix to fix this issue. It’s not a biggy as all it means is the poop isn’t properly “pooling” on the door as it should.
