P1S printing issues on the first layers

Hi,

I’ve bought my P1S this year, but I’m having some issues with it after a few weeks.
The issue looks like the 1st layer isn’t sticking. I’ve already cleaned the hotplate with water and soap, then rubbed in the whole plate the steel wool. The filament is dry, tried with bambulab filament and other brands. Replaced the Hotend with a brand new, and the result is always the same.
It looks like the hotend doesn’t come close enough to the hotplate, or maybe is something else.

Can anyone help me with this. I’m out of options.

Is that… something people do?

Does Bambu recommend that?

Hi,

Factory reset, and today did update the latest firmware. Now it’s running version 01.06.01.02

I can’t find anything else to try.

Make sure the bed can travel all the way up. Nothing is blocking it from fully homing. Check to make sure the linear bearing haven’t shifted.

Wow, there was like 2mm gap between nozzle and pei plate. Wonder how bed leveling failed like that.
