Just looking for some advice, I’m considering setting up OctoEverywhere for my P1S printer.
I’m also considering putting them on their own VLAN. But not sure 100% if this will work and my knowladge for VLANs isn’t great. Obviouisly i’d still want to communicate with my PC & Phone from the main LAN.
Has anyone got a similar setup running? If so any pointers or guides that could be recommedned would be great!!

Why not using ACE MAC/IP based access control in your switch to block the traffic ?
I use that…
The same can be achieved with any dissent firewall router with or without VLAN
No need for Vlan, but can be created either two networks with rules or and ACLs
or just range of static IPs for the printers and again some firewall rules and ACLs
Depending what exactly you want to protect and how much
But if you never done it would suggest to call a friend for a beer and sort it out for you, which seems to be working every time
