There’s a very unsettling sound coming from my printer during printing. It has less than 200 hours of print time. The bearings have already been lubricated. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it? Could it be the belt rubbing against something?
Dry rods…
Clean and lube them and the sound should be almost gone.
You can use basically any light grease on the metal rods.
For the carbon one Bambu claims a good IPA wipe to clean them and no lube is best.

My P1S, with just 45 hours of print time is also making the same horrible noise. It only happens when the printer is working on a circular detail of the print.
Sounds like either the X or Y axis is binding when the printer is trying to move the head in a circle.
Somewhat annoyed that I need to start doing maintenance tasks on a brand new printer to stop it sounding worn out. I have to fix it though as when I need to do a print that is going to run overnight, sleep will be difficult, even though the printer is in my kitchen.

I performed the following actions: I tightened the belt under the printer—the one responsible for moving the bed. Even though the rails were already lubricated, I cleaned them again and applied fresh grease.
I cleaned the carbon rods a few days ago, so there was no need to do it again.
Additionally, I ran a new calibration, and the sound stopped.
