I have read some conflicting info on 0.8 nozzles and adjusting settings. My 0.6 & 0.8 nozzles are on their way so I will learn and find out for myself soon. Be fantastic if I can read and learn from others before nozzles arrive.
I plan on printing the fallowing riser(see below link) for my p2s. I would like to print it with my new 0.8 nozzle, but just changing settings in slicer for 0.8 would keep print time about the same and just make walls thicker and then drawers might not fit. In fact the whole riser might not fit like it should due to larger nozzle. I would think I need to change nozzle size, reducing wall layers and maybe layer height to 0.64.
As I search and read more and more, I start to read how I will also need to adjust flow and recalibrate for new nozzle. Assuming I figure all this out and print with reduced walls, higher layer height for faster printing. I feel like I would still have issues with fit form and function of riser.
Any links or how to videos or guides would be appreciated. thank you
