My P2S alerts me that it doesn’t recognize my Cool Plate Super Tack plate. That’s gotta be a glitch. BBL made the plate and the printer. Anyone else having the issue?
I’m also curious to know whether plate temps get adjusted when a BBL printer does recognize the plate, or does it just go with whatever filament temps you entered?
Hi, you might try doing a camera calibration, in printer settings. I assume you tried both sides of the plate?
The printer should adjust the heat bed temps to match the plate. You can define these in Filament settings.
Thanks. You’ve given me some things to check. I have never done any camera calibrations, and no, I didn’t try the other side.
Also, the P2S specifically adopted new 3D codes. If you have the older version of the plate, they are no longer readable by the p2s. Here is my Frostbite plate with a self printed barcode that ID’s it as a cool plate. Sorry, I had to take the picture through BambuStudio on my printer running at home, so potato quality. If your 3D code doesn’t look like this, it won’t be identified.

You can also disable the plate recognition.

also ich habe mir die aktuelle Cool Plate Super Tack aus dem Bambu Store gekauft und auch die Kamera im P2S kalibriert - allerdings erkennt der Drucker die Platte trotzdem nicht.
Wenn ich den 2D Code von meiner Platte mit dem vergleiche welcher hier zum Drucken für die älteren Platten vorgeschlagen wird, ist er identisch - also habe ich bereits den neuen 2D Code.
Was mache ich falsch?

I sometimes had this issue with the Cool Plate Super Tack and Smooth PEI Plate when sunlight hit the area of the QR Code. I moved the printer to another area in the room, and this resolved the problem for me.
