I’m mainly interested in whether it actually improves cooling inside the chamber:
Are chamber temperatures noticeably lower?
Does it create a more even airflow around the model?
Does it help with PLA warping or curling in the model itself (not bed adhesion)?
Or does it tend to introduce new problems instead — for example more cooling artifacts on both sides of the model, faster or uneven cooling, increased warping, or worse bed adhesion because both fans are blowing directly across the print?
I’d be very interested in experiences from people who are actually using the second Aux Fan, especially with PLA.
Since my original thread has grown into several different topics, I thought it would make more sense to ask this specific question separately rather than burying it there:
Installed it a couple of months ago and it has noticeably helped. I no longer get model warping and corners curling. The biggest difference I archived from the extra fan was I can now successfully print in Sunlu Matte PLA, I had countless problems with it before I installed the fan. Orientation of the model is not as critical now as it used to be! Hope this helps.
i installed mine a few months ago and it helped a lot because now it gets more even cooling, which you normally would not get for examble on big prints, id say you should go for it
