Hi everyone! I’ve had the P2S for about a week now and already have a partial defect to report. The machine works fine otherwise, but the display is causing problems. When I turn the printer on, the display shows white and green stripes. If I turn the printer off and on again, the display works normally.
I’ve already checked the connectors, except for the one on the mainboard itself, because I couldn’t completely remove the back panel. Everything looks fine under a flashlight, though. Apparently, there was a similar issue with the H2D, and the display was replaced. Is that a likely solution?
Submit the ticket, you should not need to initialize the screen or any of the associated components twice to get it to work properly. It will also give Bambu Labs a heads up about the issue or provide another tick against a supplier if others are reporting the same issue even if it is never mentioned in the forum.
Bambu sent me a new display. It seems to be working now. However, I’m still monitoring it, as the error only occurred when the machine was disconnected from the power supply or switched off for several hours.
Having the same issue with mine, fresh out of the box.
Sometimes the lines are white, sometimes green.
But switching off and on works for me.
