I have just started having a problem with filament pileup. The chute is empty but I get a massive ball just inside the chute below the cut off. If I am printing more than one color. This just started today Not sure what has happened. I have tried to find Information here on the forum about it and cannot find anything If anyone has any suggestions or if there is a fix like the one for the X series I would appreciate it
Unfortunately, this is a common issue with bambu lab printers. I’m not sure if there is a fix or not.
Thank you for your comment I have been printing with this one for about a year and never had to trouble until today and it has really been a problem all day. A 13 hour project has now turned into a little over 24 hours. It is enough to make a preacher cuss. Being a man of the cloth I know.

Steinwipe Motion Control has gcode mods to
-
change the shape/density of poops so they’re less likely to stick in the chutes and
-
whack the chute periodically to dislodge stuck poop
I don’t know if it officially works for the P2 series yet, but the principle should be the same.
yeah, the best thing I can think to do is to print a poop splash guard from makerworld, or if you want to do more advanced things, alter the gcode of the machine itself
