P2S filament runout while Direct Drive top mount

I am printing an Airless Basketball using PEBA High Rebound 90A on my P2S. The print is going to take up about 700grams. I have 2 spools of the filament and want to print a second ball once this one is finished.

If I start the 2nd ball with the remaining 300 grams from the 1rst spool, will it pause when it runs out, allow me to load the 2nd spool and restart without any issues?

This is a 55+ hour print and I want to make sure I don’t waste time. But At $65/spool, I also want to make sure I use up this filament effeciently.

I to am using 3 part spools to print a basketball on a x2d. I waited till the spool was almost empty and then cut the filament just above the print head. (Only because I did not want to wait till the end of the spool in case i missed it) I planed to only wait a min or so for the filament to pass all the way through in case it didn’t stop. It did! (Both times)
