Hello, I received my P2S in november and I met a lot of issue with adhesion and bad first layer. I always clean my PEI so it’s not an issue I have 4 other printers (2 A1, a Sidewinder X4 and Snapmaker) and I print for 5 years now. But I detected under extrusion and a bad mesh probing. During the morning here is what I met for the first time.
I just retried with flow rate from 0.93 to 1.03 after a new calibration but I cannot use it with bambu handy.
The result is less bad but it is not like a perfect A1 first layer.
Your mileage may vary, but I have found the Bambu PETG-HF filament profile prints too fast. I had a bunch of prints fail on the first layer until I slowed it down a bit.
Have you watched when this is happening? It looks like the problem is on the right hand, rear side of the print bed. That is when the filament tube (most likely) will be touching the wall and/or glass cover. I suspect the flow of the filament is restricted when this happens, resulting in under extrusion.
Hi! Did you manage to resolve this issue? Today i tried to print a HueForge(it seems you tried the same) and I have a similar issue in the upper right corner. I noticed this before while printing a big circle, but i printed a smaller one and didnt pay much attention to it until now.
I tried twice and the same thing happened. Then I rotated the picture by 90° so i avoided that corner and now it’s printing fine.
As someone mentioned it might be that the PTFE tube is really bent when the head is in that corner, but I will do more testing after this print finishes.
Hi. The issue was resolved by changing the plate for a biqu frostier. But you’re right for a point. Even with bq plate, the right hand rear side is an issue, I had to exclude an object yesterday to finish the print. And it’s not the first time.
