P2S: Insufficient system memory + poor USB file management

I just want to say I love my P2S - it’s a great upgrade from my P1S but…. it feels like we’re lacking a lot of support/bugfixes

This issue has been raised many times on here, reddit, github etc… with no replies
A restart of the printer seems to solve it for a few days but this needs better handling

I am also still confused why all models on USB are duplicated?

Every time I print something I have to go into the UI and delete one of the duplicate models

Have you tried opening a ticket to get assistance with this problem?

If so, please share the ticket ID with me, or the github issue you mentioned.

Thank you

Duplicate models is something I just recently noticed. The Insufficient system memory I have had many, many times. (But never filed a ticket for it.) It will actually cascade into the AMS2 Pro and AMS HT reading 0 humidity, then throwing a “The humidity sensor is disconnected….” error. This leads to the drying function not starting and getting into an unrecoverable loop where the no prints can happen while “drying”, (but after drying refused to start), with no ongoing drying session that can be cancelled. Power cycle fixes everything. FYI, I had limited models on my USB drive when this happened last. (~6)

Does the usb need formatting with the printer ?

Yeah my USB is 256gb - there’s virtually nothing on it. A few model files and no timelapses

It’s internal memory, the detection functions or something leak memory. Have to reboot every few days but I don’t see “turn it off and back on again” as a long time solution.
This exact same thing is being reported on the H2 models too

I think it’s internal memory for operation system (or ram idk), usb it’s nothing related i find it this error today, i don’t use USB stick in my p2s.
