I came across a new issue.
Now my printer makes a very loud and unhealthy noise when homing.
It sounds like something is vibrating very loud.
I already cleaned and lubricated everything and retensioned all belts and performed a new calibration but it didn’t get any better.
The sound seems to be worst in the middle of the printer.

Does anyone have the same issue or a fix for that?
I don’t hear a “loud” noise but it does seem like your outside panels might be vibrating. If you place your hand on the outside panels while it homes does the noise change?
Yeah, I agree with Jon. It seems normal, but I hear some panel rattling either resonating with something printer touches on the outside, or maybe on the inside.
Try to hold panels with your hands and see if you can source where it’s coming from. But I can say for sure - that noise is not from the gantry movement. It sounds just fine.
My P2s does the same, but when the toolhead goes to the right when ‘homing’
This doesn’t occur when printing, so this seems to be a resonance thing when the toolhead moves at a certain speed.
So i don’t think you need to worry about anything
I found that most of the vibrations I had were not coming from the left panel, but from the cutter blade!
It is moving a lot inside the lever, I will have a look if I can make a small TPU insert to improve this. Do you observe the same think on yours?
I was almost about to create a post about this. It appears that the P2S doesn’t use the motor noise cancellation during homing (maybe for accuracy?) and it kind of bugs me. My only extension to this is that I also noticed the Z axis never had motor noise cancellation calibrations done, and it is pretty loud compared to the rest of the printer during Z hops and whatnot.
I know exactly what that noise you’re talking about is—it drives me crazy. When the printer is running, press down on the base with the palm of your hand, and you’ll see the noise goes away. The motors spinning underneath are causing the center of the base to vibrate. This weekend, I’m going to try flipping it over and adding some foam underneath.
and yeah I tried making one out of cardboard, and the noise definitely stopped… Cut four triangles out of a cardboard box and place them inside so that there are two of each.

Yeah, it’s the Zhop that makes resonance… To be honest, since I finally have a printer that can print without me having to touch it—for the first time in years—I don’t even want to mess with those settings haha
So I looked for a physical solution… and just now I bought some 10mm children’s floor tiles from the hardware store… I cut a square piece for that area and placed it there… Since the material is soft, there was no issue with it stretching, and the noise completely disappeared… Now the only sound is a crackling noise coming from the AUX fan’s housing
