Hi everyone!
I really need some help because I can’t seem to get good print results on my new P2S printers.
The photo speaks for itself:
The whale at the top was printed on an X1C—no issues there.
The whale at the bottom was printed on a P2S, and there is a clear difference at the bottom of the jaw.
On the X1C whale, the curve is smooth and consistent, but on the P2S, it starts with an almost vertical profile before transitioning into the curve. The problem is that the angle becomes too steep, causing unsightly blobs (which is to be expected given the excessive angle).
Why am I getting these two different profiles between the X1C and the P2S?
It is exactly the same 3D file and exactly the same settings.
In my case, I’m using a 0.16mm layer height with the auxiliary fan turned off.
I’m printing with PLA (I used the same spool for both whales).Additional information: the defect is more pronounced at the front of the tray than at the back.
Thanks in advance !!!
The more important comparison needs to be the previews for the file that was sliced for each printer. Can you post those please?
