Hi, just buy P2S and already have some disappointment. I use PETG (by Sunlu) for printing, and it was good and no problems with A1 and P1S. But now with P2S i can’t understand what is happening - just attach a photo of that mess. PETG = dried up. Temperature = calibrated. Flow rate = calibrated. PA = calibrated.
Such situation occurs with every print.
Maybe i missed something?
It looks the same on the Textured PEI Plate as well. The calibration line doesn’t go into the holes — it runs along the edge, staying about 1–2 mm away from them.
I’ll take a photo during the next print using the Textured PEI Plate.
That looks for me, like the purge is sticking on the nozzle instead of getting wiped. Is the cleaning rubber in right position an the sock on the nozzle?
Might be a stupid question but have you cleaned your bed(s) in that spot? Often if you pick the purge lines off with your fingers you will make the beds excessively dirty in that area, and nothing will stick to it.
Hi, I try to remove the purge lines using a scraper. I also wash the bed from time to time with soap, and sometimes with isopropyl alcohol as well.
I think it’s quite clear in the photo that there’s a small piece of filament stuck to the purge line, which wasn’t cleaned off by the cleaning rubber.
In general, as I mentioned above, everything is back to normal now and the issue is no longer happening.
I reduced the PETG printing temperature from 255°C to 245°C and added the P2S Nozzle Wiper by dedge.
Now everything works much better than it did at the beginning.
