I decided to get a few plates because of the sales with my P2S.
The Cool Plate SuperTack was one of them because it seemed like a great buy for the money.
I’ve noticed sticking issues with this plate even though it’s marketed with the intention to get rid of adhesion problems.
After some troubleshooting i increased bed temps to like 55 and lowered the AUX fan intake while also lowering part cooling.
This got rid of PLA warping, but (clear) PETG doesn’t seem to work well at all. It just doesn’t stick properly…
I know this plate is not fully ‘compatible’ with the P2S because it’s not a 2nd gen plate. But print-wise it should be compatible according to the wiki: Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack | Bambu Lab Wiki
I’ve also disabled the plate detection check and executed a full bed level calibration.
Is there anything I’m missing here?
This aside, I’m having a blast with this printer! It’s my first Bambu printer.

Did you clean the plate? While the SuperTack plate hasn’t fully resolved my warping issues with long, thin parts, the overall adhesion is great. Even hat to re-heat the bed to 50 °C to get some larger prints off. But pre cleaning the adhesion wasn’t great.
I printed the BambuLab spool with PETG on the SuperTack plate, no issues there.
I had the same issue at first. I made a diffuser model to move upward the air flow from the auxiliary cooling fan, it was better definitely but not perfect as I still have some occasional issues with the cool plate (warping and adhesion, with PLA Silk and PETG-HF).
I know those supertack plates are a bit of hit or miss, I keep washing and scrubing it and avoid mixing materials on the same face
Yeah it definitely has more of a strong adhesion than the textured PEI for example. But the corners like to warp compared to textured PEI.
I have cleaned the plate as well a few times properly (soap and water).
I’ll give it a few more tries with PETG and share my results.
