PA Profile K-Factor vs Filament Profile A1 Mini

Hi, i dont really understand the PA Profiles for the K-Factor. I have both the A1 and the A1 mini without an AMS system and i want to calibrate new aftermarket Filaments because sometimes i have to order non Bambu Lab filaments from amazon. Both the A1 and A1 mini feature auto calibration in case of the K-Factor for every print, there is no auto calibration for flow ratio.

I want to calibrate both K-Factor and Flow ratio in one profile. There are several questions the AI couldnt answer. First is, where i can select the PA-Profile before a print since i dont use AMS, i couldnt see any button or field that is related to the K-factor when you dont use AMS. 2nd Question would be, how a PA profile is linked to a filament profile, do they need to have the same name?

For example, i manually calibrate the flow ratio with the “plate test” and the resulting flow ratio is saved in a filament profile lets say “Esono lab flow calibrated”. After that i calibrate the k-factor with the line test and use the Esonso Flow calibrated filament profile for that calibration. Is the K-factor permanently linked to the Esono lab flow calibrated filament profile then? Or do i have to choose the PA profile manually before a print somewhere?

3rd. question, when i use the auto calibration function right before the print for the k-Factor it will use this k-Factor value instead, not the k-factor value from the PA-profile?

4rd. question, the manual calibration for the k-factor value will always create a PA profile that correlates to a certain filament profile, its not used for ALL future prints lets say with PLA ?

sorry for the questions but i need to know that information because i need to know if my manual calibrated profiles making sense in the end or not. It would be nice if Bamu Studio let you create and mange PA Profile correlated to a filament profile. It is also irritating that your printer shows “generic PLA” profile but in Bambu studio you choose your custom profile, so i am never really sure if the printer use the K-factor or not.
