Am i tripping or there isnt an option to save the PA value after testing in BS 2.2.0.85?
I just ran some calibrations in the new version of BS and while temperature and flow rate can easily be set in the filament window, i cant seem to find the option for PA value.
Orca slicer has a dedicated category for PA values as shown in the pictures below, but Bambu Studio is unable to do so. With the previous calibrating methods you would just write the values at the end of the test. Now its just some wasted filament…
Good timing, I was literally looking this up 10 minutes ago! PA is also known as the K-Factor. From the Device tab, select the edit button on your filament. There, you’ll see the PA Profile and K-Factor. To set this you need to go to Calibration > Flow Dynamics. If you know the number already, select “Manage Result” and then “New”. If you don’t know the number already, select “Manual Calibration”.
Edit: Don’t forget, once done, to go back to the Device tab and actually set that filament to use the new profile.
Interesting, is your BS up-to-date? Mine shows the tab, I’m not sure why yours wouldn’t, unless it has something to do with Multi-Device being enabled. In any case, I see that the device in question is named “Mini” - assuming the A1 Mini, that should support auto calibration (as of firmware 01.04), just select “Flow Dynamics Calibration” when you start the print.
Hey all! I had this same issue with the Calibration tab not being there. The issue was actually my screen resolution. Moving to my larger monitor and it was present again. @Sigama_Crafts@ua_marksman
