Has anyone used a marker airbrush to paint models? It seems like the paint is not permanent.
Well, I didn’t get any answers and I got one for Christmas from Hobby Lobby (Marker Airbrush Kit | Hobby Lobby | 2464394). It wasn’t the one I saw on the internet (https://winsonsglobal.com/products/winsons-electric-airbrush-marker) but it was $23 versus $40 (on sale regular $60). The Hobby Lobby version came with 12 pens and it appears that the WInson requires you to purchase the pens separately, or as a package ($50 or $65 not on sale)
And, I can initially say it worked a lot better than expected. The Hobby Lobby version uses pointed tips and the Winson uses the angled tips. I don’t know how long they will last but it covers quickly and drys almost instantly.
I would be interested in anyone else’s experience.
