Parametric Model Maker.... Studio Presets?

Made my first configurable design today, but I notice when it’s generated the 3mf file uses the 0.2mm user preset in Bambu Studio. This model has fine threads in it and will need the 0.12mm preset at least - is there any way to specify that so that the 3mf gets generated with that preset?

It uses M4 or 32-36 TPI imperial threads. They print fine with the 0.12mm High Quality standard user preset, but at the 0.2mm user preset the threads are not workable.

Sure, but in a lot of cases it sure would be nice to be able to specify a layer height or some other settings. We can’t know what the user has set for presets, but it would be nice to specify one of the inbuilt bamboo provided presets. I suspect in this case I’m going to get complaints from folks that just hit print and wonder why the threads don’t thread. Very much negates the usefulness of posting configurable objects.

The parametric slicer isn’t going to know which settings are relevant or which settings should be reset to default when the model scale changes so its just taking the safe bet and using the default settings

Its less ideal for your project sadly so you’re going to have to rely on either just providing the most common versions or making sure people are aware that settings need to be changed back

you can modify some of the presets once you upload the model.
Just click the edit button from the model upload form and the parametric model will pop up.
Then, select the plate and press again in the settings icon next to the plate name and this window will open.
Once you are happy with the results, just press the upload button

Does Bambu watch these threads? @migueljeronimoa‘s solution is I think correct, but in practice I just get an error when I try to publish or even save to draft after changing those settings. I’m guessing this is bug in the platform.

I have the same problem, but I didn’t find the options, mentioned by @migueljeronimoa. Where can I find I exactly?

you are right, it seems to be failing once you want to publish the model. Maybe @PineappleBun_BBL can help us with that.
The change seems to work fine, also the “upload” button in the parametric model page, it is even marked as validated, but once you try to “publish” the model, it fails

I’ve reproduced the issue. We are still investigating the root cause.

A possible workaround for now is to use incognito mode of your browser to do the uploading.

Thank you for taking a look! On my machine at least the workaround doesn’t seem to work. Still getting the same error in incognito in chrome and private in safari.
