The ABS residue could possibly interfere with bed adhesion, and would probably discolor your print if say something like PLA bonded with it in the first layer. It would probably cause the first layer to get pushed up a bit (which is bad if the nozzle touches it, toolheads can “bounce” with grid infill).
You can either use 99% IPA or 70% IPA (Thread, Thread) but NEVER use ethyl alcohol (Thread).
Edit: Also if you’re using 91% IPA then make sure the other 9% is contaminant free. It will usually be listed as something like deionized water.
