I added pause to add magnets to my object. How can I automatically set the Z location to a higher location after the pause?
Not sure what you mean exactly, why do you want Z to be higher after pause? Are you trying to get the printer to print on the magnets instead of the previous layer or something?
If you’re just embedding a magnet, all you need is a pause right before the layer that covers the magnet hole. Make sure the hole is deep enough and push the magnet all the way in so that the nozzle doesn’t hit the magnet.
The Z location is only about 1 inch higher above the object after the pause. Due to a metal bar on the x-axis, it is challenging to place the magnet in certain locations.
I am thinking: can it be automatically set to be 6 inches above the objects? It will be easy for my fat hand to put the magnet.
