PEI Plate - 'location marker' not found

Just disable localization marker detection. You can do it from the screen on printer, it cannot be disabled from studio on your computer.

I kinda like the warning, in case I forgot to put the plate back. One guy did I saw, ripped his bed apart :frowning:

I just received a new X1 C and nearly every print started with the marker not found message. Clicking resume always resulted in a failed first layer. Turning off the marker check fixed it for printing but I wanted the safety check. When I compared the marker printed on the new style texture plate of my almost new P1S and the new X1 I saw the marker symbol on the P1S was much more readable. I switched build plates and 5 prints later no errors with the bed plate check turned back on. Final answer is defective build plate marking on the new X1. Ordered some marker stickers anyway. The P1S does not care if the marker is readable or not.

The P series doesn’t check, only the X series does.

Do you have LED lights in your “shop”? If so can you try using incandescent or fluorescent lights instead as an experiment.

Just happened to me today, wiped out the hot end before i could get it cleaned up , you would think tit would not continue with a completely missing build plate . Now the rare and side printing that starts i believe to get orientation of the plate is not there and a Gober starts at the lines near the flow control marks are by the door.
