I’m trying to finish up a pretty complex project with a lot of parts. I’d like to publish it with the optimal settings, where some parts require very slow initial layer speeds. Most parts don’t, however, and I don’t want people to waste time on the firsts layer unnecessarily.
There is a global first layer speed setting, but I can’t find per-object or per-plate first layer speed settings to customize it on a granular level.
I’ve tried setting the global settings layer to the default fast layer and using a height-span modifier. But changing the general speeds don’t affect the first layer in any way. I checked this by comparing the first layer time between the different configurations.
Any ideas how to approach this? Should I just publish different project files with different global speeds? And in that case, for usability purposes, which one should be the main project file for the model page?
