If you’re a single-machine user like me, then IKEA has your perfect base unit - the STORKLINTA bedside table. The P1S fits perfectly, with just the right amount of space behind it for the reel-box cardboard poop-chute to sit.
No, no shares in IKEA… 
I found a cheap cabinet on Amazon. It has a 5"ish high drawer, and two lower doors where two shelves are. Great storage for filament, in its box.
I also cut a 16" square 3/8" plywood piece, and screwed it to a 14 Lazy Susan turntable ring. Now I can pivot the printer 45" each direction, when I am not standing directly in front of it. Plus, easy to work on the back when I need to, without back strain.
This cabinet is called Malm in the EU stores.
I use IKEA Hyllis metal shelves for my office setup, I zip-tie them together to form a continuous, solid shelving unit. They’re a useful size and extremely cheap (AU$15 in Australia, but somehow US$20 in the IKEA US store lol).
I zip-tied two of the short ones back-to-back to form a deep shelf about 60 x 55 cm, then got a 60 x 40 cm paver from the hardware store to put the P1S on top of. Plenty of space around the printer.
I just purchased three of these and we now have our dining room back! Extra excited about the extra storage space and drawers where I can store filament rolls and tools. Thank you for the suggestion!
Yeah, I’m thinking of replacing my really noisy IKEA BROR workbench with IKEA STORKLINTA to get something that are made of wood.
For now my IKEA BROR seems to transfer and amplify all my P1S vibrations and noise. Like the calibration frequency sweep is REALLY LOUD since it’s also transfered to my wooden floor which also has a thin-ish concrete floor underneath.
To somewhat dampen the vibrations and noises im using a foam pad and a concrete pad underneath my P1S.
So I thought that maybe a IKEA MALM/STORKLINTA would be better to use since it doesn’t have these metal structure and metal shelves that also vibrates and making noises.
Can it withstand the weight of P1S, AMS on top with filament rolls and the foam and concrete pad?
I also have a A1 with same setup. That is more silent though. It also transfers the vibrations in to the whole metal structure and the metal shelves which sounds like some kind of lighting..
