good day. please advise. I print on bambulab A1 and I can’t print the model. It always leaks at the beginning of the perimeter. When I make a model of a separate rectangle, it prints well. but as soon as there are crossings, it’s wrong. The nozzle is 0.4 and the layer is 0.24 pla basic primo bambulab. I’ve tried various speed adjustments, retraction and nothing helps. Does anyone have any advice?
If you calibrate the filament and k-factor it will look much better.
You clearly suffer from over extrusion…
Do I have to calibrate the filament with every new filament? I only use the bambulab brand
You don’t and Bambu, as well as the supported filament suppliers claim the provided profiles are perfect.
Same way your car dealer says your car is perfect and the best there is
If the calibration gives the same values you wasted about an hour.
If it is different and you get proper prints you saved god knows how much frustration.
I print some quick test cubes for new filament.
If they come out fine I keep the calibration, if not I fix it.
And I don’t use Bambu filament any more…
I did the calibration, but the result is still the same? Any other help?. Why don’t you use the bambulab filament? Is it good for me? Any recommendations for a better one?. Thank you very much for your participation
I don’t use Bambu filaments because down here they use the worst possible shipping service and the two orders I made were both badly stuffed up.
If I order filament I need it to arrive and not get delayed because they wait for one roll of filament or such bogus…
Anyway…
If the calibration is good it would to be some other problem.
The pics though look like over extrusion.
Are other prints in lower layer heights failing the same way?
yesterday I did some experiments with temperature. at 185 degrees the seam is absolutely beautiful and the wall is smooth, but the shell breaks and doesn’t hold. when I increase the temperature the problem appears. as I wrote when I print the rectangle separately it is beautiful. in this model there are 6 of them next to each other. so in my opinion it is about the retraction, overrun, flow settings. I don’t know, I have tried everything and nothing. maybe I have the wrong settings, or it is impossible to print :-). I am using a model in stl. which I made myself.
