I am trying to print a wireframe-like sphere. I am thinking about buying PVA for this use case but as it’s pricey, I do not want to use PVA in the entire support because the filament change would cause a lot of wastage. On the other hand, I cannot use PVA only at the interface because the resultant pieces would end up stuck inside the sphere. What would work is to have the tree support in little chunks after water dissolution. Is there a way to say insert interface in the tree support every 5mm or something like that? That way, the little remnants can fall out through the wireframe holes.
