Hi been a bambu user for three years and have six printers. I’m sick and tired of having to do all the workarounds to print with bamboo PETG basic or bamboo PETGHF. I find myself in the printer room babysitting PETG prints because I have to keep running over to the printer to disable the fan. Yes I know there are custom G codes and printer settings that I can change. I do these things however, sometimes I just wanna print from the handy app and not have to worry about constantly babysitting the fan motor. I’m pretty much at my wits end, I can’t seem to find the thread where this has been previously discussed so can somebody please point me in the right direction? What I would really love is for a way to disable the fan mid print for the entire entirety of the print.
Bit of a silly question but do you have the silicone sock on?
If you make custom filament settings in Studio, you can tell the Handy App to use those once they are stored in the AMS.
I use a derivative of the Generic PETG profile. No changes to the fans but wipe on retract enabled and the Generic profiles reduced flow rates.
Since you mentioned switching off the fans half-way up, your actual issue is curling?
