As you can see the print quality is not really good.
I have problems with overhangs even though i used supports everywhere.
There are strange formations like on the picture of the corner.
On some other parts you can see some small holes.
It even seems that the corners are not even straight/90°.
The first photo is a part I rush printed for a friend out of PETG HF. I started with a well-dried spool but it wasn’t enough so had to swap in a spool that hadn’t finished drying. You can see where the change happened at the little filament thread sticking out near the center left hole. Bottom part of the print was dry. The top part not so much but it had about 4 hours of (incomplete) drying and I needed the spool to swap in to finish the print.
These next photos are some clips to hold netting around solar panels. The first photo was PETG HF that wasn’t fully dried and those parts show lifting, doughy looking surface, and some stringing.
The last photo was after a good drying with no lifting, no doughy look, very little stringing.
The only difference in the prints/photos was how dry the filament was. There were no changes to any settings (X1C).
Don’t know your problem is still moisture but it does look like it might be to me. There’s unfortunately nuance to drying filament and just following the basic directions isn’t always a guarantee your filament actually is dry. Some filament dryers are poorly designed and not that efficient on their own for drying filament. And some of how dry people can get their filament is set just by ambient humidity. This trips up way too many people.
Thank you very much for the quick reply and your help — it really helps me a lot. Which filament dryer would you recommend? I’m currently using the Creality Space Pi+, but I store the filament in Polymaker boxes. Especially the process of transferring it to another box doesn’t seem ideal.
